Russ Bond Motorsport Report: Women Rule the World!

This was clearly the weekend of the woman in motorsports. The previously 0 for 49 Danica Patrick finally won a car race, when she took the checkered flag at the Twin Ring Motegi IRL race on Saturday night. Simona De Silvestro became the second woman to win in the Champcar Danica Patrick won in Japan, her first car win... it was a relief... (Photo: Dana Garrett, IRL) Atlantic series – Katherine Legge was the first – when she won the Champcar Atlantic Series opener in Long Beach this weekend… oh, Legge finished 17th of 19 in the second round of the DTM series at Oschersleben. Finally, ESPN reporter Jamie Little won the Celebrity race at Long Beach after a very kind Mike Skinner refused to turn her around going into the last corner.
